A priestess, Hiroko, guides us through Shinto, the unique Japanese philosophy of life, which is based on gratitude and connection to the kami. Kami are manifestations of the interconnecting energy of the universe. Usually hidden from this world, they inhabit a complementary existence that mirrors our own. Sometimes we can feel them in the elements of landscape or forces of nature. A documentary film created as a part of the VideoWords project (http://videowords.altervista.org/). Project Art Director describes it as follows: "Thirty international artists, are called to interpret fifteen pairs of words, antinomical to each other. These words represent many aspects of life, emotions and human expectations."
The Shinto Film Universe was called upon to interpret the word "Love".Shinto is an unique philosophy based on gratitude, commitment and deep connection to the kami - the energy of nature. Might that deep commitment and connection to kami and nature be love? There is certainly deeply-rooted affection, unparalleled fondness and need, in most of the Japanese people, to care for and protect the spirits of nature. To show respect and devotion. To be like drops of sun.

- Responsibility, resourcefulness, creative initiative, ability to work under time pressure
- Ability to work with digital and analog photography technology
- Ability to operate most modern video cameras, including Arri, Red, Sony and Canon
- Color grading in DaVinci Resolve program (I own private color grading studio)
